In late 2004, Angelo and Michael considering opening up their own restaurant.
A restaurant that was grounded on the two principals that made both Villas successful:
focus on the guest
provide great menu selections made from the finest ingredients known to man.
The restaurant had to be in a convenient location, yet provide enough room for dining as well as an efficient kitchen and oven area.
When 465 Court Street became available, both Angelo and Michael knew this was THE place. They got to work, hired several contractors and enlisted family and a few close friends to make Michelangelo's a reality.
Michelangelo's popularity caught on, mostly by word of mouth. Remember, at that time, Michelangelo's was less than half the size it is today...
times were good.
